Facial Masks

My next set of blogs is going to be about different facial masks. These are Grandmother's natural facials created, basically, with things around the kitchen.

These facials are a fun way to pamper yourself. Invite some friends and have a facial party!

Facials are a wonderful idea for skin health and beauty. It's best to apply facials in the evening, when your skin will be free of makeup for several hours. Facial masks are most effective after a shower or bath, after your face has been gently steamed and the pores are open. Always start with a clean face and neck and rub the mixtures in with an upward circular motion.

This is an excellent mask for dry skin. It's also recommended to reduce and prevent fine lines and wrinkles. Mash a ripe banana with a drop or two of peanut oil. Spread it on your face and neck and leave on for about a half an hour. Remove with lukewarm water. You may apply this mask every day or every other day to promote softer skin.

Disclaimer: Remember, there's no scientific data to back this up. These are just old time ideas from grandma!
